YOU ARE CORDIALLY INVITED TO JOIN US AT OUR 2ND ANNUAL NEWTOWN FOUNDATION BREAKFAST FUNDRAISER TO SUPPORT THE 4TH ANNUAL NATIONAL VIGIL FOR ALL VICTIMS OF GUN VIOLENCE

Last year at our 1st Annual Newtown Foundation Breakfast Fundraiser, we honored the families of victims of gun violence, survivors of gun violence and advocates who have devoted their lives to ending gun violence in our nation. We also raised funds to bring families that have been impacted by gun violence to Washington D.C. for the 3rd Annual National Vigil for All Victims of Gun Violence.

This year, we invite you to join Grammy-nominated and award winning producer Mark Carman with honored guests Senators Blumenthal and Murphy at our 2nd Annual Newtown Foundation Breakfast Fundraiser to support the 4th Annual National Vigil for All Victims of Gun Violence.

What: This is the main fundraiser to bring families and survivors impacted gun violence and gun violence prevention advocates to Washington D.C. on December 14th to honor and remember all victims of gun violence on the 4th anniversary of the Sandy Hook shooting.

When: Saturday, September 24, 2016 from 9-11am.

Where: The Waterview 215 Roosevelt Drive, Monroe, CT 06468

Keynote Speaker: Mark Carmon is a former police officer, an under cover operative, a Naval Intelligence operative, a recipient of the President’s Volunteers in Service to America Lifetime Achievement Award, Ambassador of Good Will (State of Tennessee), Grammy Nominations, Song-writing Awards, and Number One Recordings.

Special Guests: Connecticut Senators Blumenthal and Murphy have been working tirelessly since the Sandy Hook tragedy to pass common sense federal legislation to end gun violence.

The 2016 #HonorWithAction award recipients will be honored.

Please reserve your tickets here. Individual tickets: $60 each Table sponsors: $600 for a table of 10 seats

If you cannot join us, please consider making a tax-deductible donation here. The Newtown Foundation is a 501c3 all-volunteer organization therefore 100% of your donation will go directly to sponsor the National Vigil and to bring the families of victims, survivors of gun violence and advocates to Washington D.C.

THE NEWTOWN FOUNDATION GUIDE TO HOLDING A LOCAL VIGIL

Holding a vigil is a powerful way to make a statement and educate your community. A vigil can help focus on the growing tragedy of gun violence in America. 30,000 people per year fall victim to gun violence in this country. One of the ways that you can participate in bringing this issue to people’s attention is to hold a vigil in your community. Download the local Vigil ToolKit here.
